Close to the beach Nissi Beach, in Ayia Napa, there is a chapel dedicated to Apostolos Andreas. It is a small chapel with wall painting of the Saint above the entrance.
The interior of the chapel consists of a simple wood carving, consisting of the icons of Christ, Virgin Mary, John the Baptist and Apostle Andreas, while the walls are decorated with frescoes.
Apostolos Andreas is honored each year on November 30th. As a result of Christ's first disciple, this was the name of the initiator. Apostle Andreas teach Christianity in Patras, where he died.
